Our association, DFOA, is dedicated to providing members with training and education on rules, mechanics, and the mental aspects of football officiating. By bringing officials in, building them up, and sending them out, the Denver area will continue to be Colorado's premier officiating backyard. In 2009, DFOA was fortunate to get the opportunity to work the 5A and the 3A State Championship games.
Some of our current members are active in NCAA Division I & Division II football conferences such as Pac 12, Big 12, Mountain West, WAC, SWAC, Big Sky, Southland and RMAC with several members getting the opportunity to work Bowl and playoff games in 2010. We also have been extremely fortunate to have been the starting grounds for some current and former NFL officials:
