Danny Hoeft
A message from Jesus Rivera about a former member of DFOA and current RMAC college official:
Danny Hoeft was severely injured while working a game at San Diego State game at Qualcomm Stadium on Saturday.
He has a fractured C-7, Severely bruised collar bone.
Has all movement…hands, feet, legs, etc.
His MRI discovered a small but growing tumor on the left side of his brain.
They believe this have been there for 20 years but is now showing growth.
They believe this could have something to do with his left side deteriorating hearing.
He is out for the season.
Pray for him and his family that he heals quickly and that the tumor is something that can be quickly dealt with.
Puts life into perspective…this is simply a game we love and enjoy being a part of, but God and life has bigger plans, we just don’t get to know or say when. Peace….jr

2012 DFOA Golf Tournament
The 2012 DFOA Golf Tourney was held on Monday, August 6th @ Murphy Creek Golf Course. DFOA is incredibly grateful to Mike Letofsky and Tony G for another successful event.  Over 100 golfers enjoyed a day of golf, awesome Italian dinner buffet, and ensured that DFOA has the financial resources to contine to build up our membership, ensure we have the tools to adequately train our members, and prepared our men and women to take to the field.  On behalf of our Area Directors, kudos to all that helped, sponsorships, participated and gave back a little to our association.
